POLARIS National Security PAC, an independent PAC dedicated to supporting conservative candidates for federal office with stellar national security credentials, has released its second slate of endorsements for the 2024 election cycle. The five candidates for this set of endorsements are:
Ted Cruz, Candidate for U.S. Senate (Texas) - Sen. Ted Cruz represents 30 million Texans in the U.S. Senate as a passionate fighter for limited government, national security, and economic growth. He has authored over 90 legislative measures that have been signed into law. He serves as the Ranking Member on the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. In the Judiciary Committee, he is the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on The Constitution.
Derrick Anderson, Candidate for U.S. House (VA-07) – After college, Derrick commissioned into the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. He was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division as a Platoon Leader where he deployed for 15-months in support of “the Surge” in Iraq. Derrick also served in the White House during President Trump’s Administration, where he worked in the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Sheri Biggs, Candidate for U.S. House (SC-03) – Sheri currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over two decades in health care - from an Intensive Care Unit Nurse to a licensed nursing home administrator and health services consultant to volunteer service of veterans’ and first responders’ mental health needs, Sheri cares passionately about helping others heal.
Rob Bresnahan, Candidate for U.S. House (PA-08) - At the age of 19, Rob joined his grandfather’s business, Kuharchik Construction, as CFO - making it a third-generation electrical contracting company. After graduation, Rob took over as CEO of the company as his grandparents retired from the business. He helped open new territory for the company and secure financing to hire even more skilled tradesmen and women, ultimately growing the operation to support more than 150 families across Pennsylvania.
Michael Baumgartner, Candidate for U.S. House (WA-05) - Michael Baumgartner is currently serving as the Treasurer of Spokane County overseeing a nearly $1.9 billion fixed-income investment fund. Michael spent eight years as the State Senator for the 6th Legislative District. Michael was a U.S. State Department Officer at the US Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, from 2007 to 2008. He went on to serve as a counternarcotics advisor to a US Government-funded program in Afghanistan.

Sam Brown, Candidate for U.S. Senate (Nevada) - Sam applied to West Point right after the September 11 attacks and commissioned as an infantry officer. He earned a Purple Heart bravely serving the United States while in Afghanistan in 2008. Today, Sam is a small business owner and father to three children.
Joe Teirab, Candidate for U.S. House (MN-02) – Joe is a graduate of Cornell and Harvard Law School who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying to Iraq where he supported the fight against ISIS. After leaving the Marines, Joe served as an Assistant County Attorney where he prosecuted drug crimes, violent crimes, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Most recently, Joe prosecuted federal crimes as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.
Rob Mercuri, Candidate for U.S. House (PA-17) - Rob graduated from West Point and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service, including in two tours of Iraq. After serving as a senior banking executive, Rob ran for and won a seat in the Pennsylvania General Assembly in 2020 and won reelection in 2022.
Alison Esposito, Candidate for U.S. House (NY-18) - Alison has proudly served in the New York City Police Department since 1997, which she joined because she believes that New Yorkers have the right to be safe, free, and protected. She has risen to the rank of Deputy Inspector.
Troy Downing, Candidate for U.S. House (MT-02) - Following the September 11 terror attacks, Troy enlisted in the US Air Force and Air National Guard, where he served two service tours in Afghanistan and spent 8 years participating in combat and medical rescue missions. Troy is the current Montana Commissioner of Securities and insurance, State auditor.
Hon. Yvette Herrell, Candidate for U.S. House (NM-02) -Born and raised in New Mexico, Yvette has started several small businesses throughout New Mexico. In 2020, Yvette was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for New Mexico's Second Congressional District, but narrowly lost reelection in 2022.
Judge Joe McGraw, Candidate for U.S. House (IL-17) – Judge Joe McGraw has spent his career in law enforcement – serving as a prosecutor, private attorney, and for the past 20 years as Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division. Joe is a husband, father, lifelong Illinoisan, and a faithful steward of the law.
Prasanth Reddy, Candidate for U.S. House (KS-03) - Dr. Reddy is a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force Reserves. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he completed his internal medicine residency and clinical hematology and oncology fellowship. Dr. Reddy lives in Lenexa, and is triple-board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology.
